I grew up in San Francisco and lived there until I was 27 years of age. I experienced the wonderful amenities the city had to offer including the Playland amusement park as a young child, the historic Cliff House where I worked my first job as a dishwasher and busboy before becoming a waiter at the "Upstairs-At-The-Cliff House" restaurant. I am proud to say that I grew up in such a beautiful and unique city like no other. My mother, Marilyn Blaisdell has been a collector of San Francisco historical items for over 40 years. As some of you probably know, she had her very first store selling collectibles off the 1st floor entryway to the Cliff House for many years. In addition to being a avid collector, she has published her own books about San Francisco's amazing history including: 1) Photographs of Playland 2) Photographs of the Cliff House 3) Photographs of Sutro Baths 4) Photographs of 3 San Francisco World Fairs |
